About the

Longwood Green Homeowners Association

 and Our Community

Longwood Green and the Oaks of Longwood Green neighborhoods are members of the Longwood Green Homeowners Association. Our community is a deed restricted development of 116 single family homes, located in Seminole County, Florida, 13 miles (about 20 minutes) north of downtown Orlando. We are located within the city limits of Longwood, Florida. Longwood has an area of 5.6 square miles and a population of 15,011 (year 2016).

A great deal of effort was expended preserving native trees when the community was planned and developed; as a treed community deed restrictions are in place to preserve this appealing aspect.

Our community has a "greenbelt" nature area running through the middle of it with 60 homes on the "Greens" side and 56 homes on the "Oaks" side. The HOA owned green area is approximately 9.5 acres and is home to many animal inhabitants. Some of the animals spotted in our nature area include: red tail foxes, river otters, black bears, panthers, bobcats, coyotes, whooping cranes, sandhill cranes, bald eagles, owls, hawks, ducks, and many more.

All homes were uniquely built by a number of custom home builders. There remain 11 lots available for construction of new homes.

Deed restrictions are enforced by a Board of Directors who are elected on an annual basis by the homeowners within the community.
